OCEAN CITY — The Cape May County 4-H Youth Development program is offering a free SPIN (Short Term, SPecial INterest) club to introduce children ages 5-8 (grades K-3) in Ocean City to the 4-H Cloverbud Program.
4-H is a community of young people across New Jersey learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. The Cape May County 4-H Cloverbud Program is designed to introduce young children to a variety of hand-on activities & experiences while making new friends and having fun.
The short-term program will be in session Wednesday evenings, starting April 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Ocean City Free Public Library, 1735 Simpson Avenue, Ocean City. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend the club sessions with their children.
The club will be led by longtime 4-H member and adult volunteer Alicia Arnold, of Cape May Court House. Arnold is excited to be introducing new youngsters to the 4-H program. “Cloverbud SPIN Clubs are a wonderful first step into the 4-H Youth Development program. It’s an opportunity for children to learn by doing and gain valuable life skills.”
