New Modernized MVC Agency Opens in Cape May County

By Press Release

NORTH CAPE MAY — The opening of the new Rio Grande Agency at 3305 Bay Shore Road, Breakwater Plaza, North Cape May, NJ 08204, marks the completion of the most recent customer service project of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC).
Having moved from its former 3,671 square foot location on Route 47 South, this new modernized agency now has 5,930 square feet of space and a layout that is more convenient for our customers.
The new agency offers five additional agency service windows, for a total of 12, as well as a second driver testing window for check-in, which will help reduce overall customer waiting times. Additionally, the new Breakwater Plaza site offers more parking spaces than were previously available at the former location.
“The MVC continues to remain focused on improving operations in every area of our business. This agency move provides a spacious, modernized and customer-friendly experience that demonstrates our continued commitment to meeting the needs of our customers,” said Chairman and Chief Administrator Raymond P. Martinez.
The MVC reminds customers to always check our website before any visit to a local office and to take advantage of our “Skip the Trip” license renewal process and our on-line services such as vehicle registration renewals, driver abstract requests, and surcharge and restoration payments.
