CAPE MAY – Jimmy Doolittle said, “There is nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer.” New Jersey Audubon’s Nature Center of Cape May needs volunteers! The Center simply can not exist nor carry on its critically important role of fostering environmental awareness in Cape May without volunteers. Not sure how you can help? Don’t have the right training? All we need are people who are willing to help; we need volunteers. Ask us, we’ll show you how you can assist with:
• Center reception, store sales, managing inventory, answering phones, greeting the public
• Computer maintenance and data entry, graphic design
• Mailings and stuffing envelopes
• Family programs, birthday parties, arts & crafts
• Cleaning, gardening and grounds maintenance
• Fairs and exhibits, school programs and special events like Harbor Fest
• Leading nature and birding walks
• The annual wildlife plant sale
• Assisting with our preschool program and summer children’s programs
• Public relations
• And so much more!
