Nature Center Hosts DIY Wreath Making Workshops

By Sponsored Content

CAPE MAY – The aroma of fresh evergreens ushers in the holidays for many of us. You are invited to come out to the Nature Center of Cape May during the first week of December to craft your own handmade holiday masterpiece. Using fresh evergreens of Douglas fir, spruce, pine, cedar and other natural materials your creation will rival those gracing the pages of expensive specialty catalogs. More importantly, it will be your very own creation!
The process is easy to learn and even first timers go home with impressive holiday centerpieces, wreaths and blankets. Materials and supplies are provided but everyone is encouraged to bring their own special decorations. This is one of our most popular workshops and space is limited so pre-registration is a must. Cost is $15 for NJ Audubon members and $20 for non-members.
Schedule:
Dec. 5, 10:00 to noon
Dec. 6, 10:00 to noon, or come out for “Girls Night Out” 5:30 to 7:00
Dec. 7, 10:00 to noon and 12:30 to 2:30
Dec. 8, 1:00 in the afternoon until finished.
Do you belong to a club or group and you are looking for a special holiday outing? Why not book a special date and time with us to host a wreath making how-to workshop just for you! Call the center today with your request.
If you have evergreens from your yard that you are willing to donate, please do so by calling NCCM at 609-898-8848. Thank you!
