Nature Center announces first birdseed sale day

By On Deck Staff

New Jersey Audubon’s Nature Center of Cape May announces its first Lyric Birdseed Sale of the fall and winter season.
Choose from a variety of seed mixtures, sunflower seeds, thistle, cracked corn, and suet cakes that will suit the taste of every hungry avian, from nuthatches to finches and more.
Lyric birdseed is freshly milled and packaged at the time of delivery. Both taste and nutritional value are much higher than seed that sits on store shelves for months.
All proceeds from the sale of birdseed are used to support Nature Center educational programs.
The deadline for placing your order is Sept. 19. Call the Nature Center at 609-898-8848 to request an order form.
You may pick up your seed at the center, 1600 Delaware Ave., Cape May, on Oct. 3, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Two additional winter birdseed sales will be held in Dec. and Feb.
