Mural Dedicated in Ocean City

By Press Release

OCEAN CITY – Ocean City’s Community Art Projects (CAP) dedicated their latest mural, “Wet & Wild” which is on the side wall of the 29th Street Fire House (29th & West Avenue, Ocean City). The whimsical collection of fire hoses spraying water was painted by local artists, DJ Rossiter, Ginny Mulford and Carla Migliaccio. The idea to paint a mural and beautify the fire house came from City employees – Mark Thompson and George Ward with guidance from Mike Lenhardt.
CAP’s mission is to beautify Ocean City through the creation of public art. They have added numerous murals, sculptures, traffic box art, intersection paintings and other works throughout the community. For information on CAP log onto www.communityartprojects.com.
