COURT HOUSE – Middle Township residents, we want to see your selfie photo taken at one of our many public parks, playgrounds, and facilities. The Middle Township Department of Recreation is sponsoring its first Selfie Extravaganza during the month of July.
“We think this is a fun way for Middle Township adults and children to show themselves off enjoying one of our many recreational facilities in our community”, said Middle Township Recreation Department Director Tammy Devitt. “During July, we encourage all parents and children who have their parental permission to take a selfie photo and send it along to us for posting on our Facebook site”.
A “selfie” photo is described as a photograph taken of oneself typically taken with a smartphone or other electronic device that is uploaded to a social media website. All photos must be taken on the Middle Township Department of Recreation grounds; acceptable photos would be in front of a playground, or an athletic field.
All photos should be forwarded to tdevitt@middletownship.com for consideration. Any photo of a child must include parental approval before the photo is posted. Please submit your selfie photo with your name and telephone number.
Approved photos will be posted on the Middle Township Recreation Department Facebook page.
