Middle Township Mayor Michael Clark Issued the Following Statement

By Sponsored

“I read with amusement Tim Donohue’s announcement of his “10-Step Vision” for township recreation. Apparently Mr. Donohue suffers either from a bad memory or a propensity to take credit for the accomplishments of others. His ‘vision’ was derived directly from the efforts of Deputy Mayor DeVico and myself.”
Mayor Clark continued:
“During the three years Mr. Donohue and former Committeeman Lockwood had control of township government, they did nothing to foster recreation. When Deputy Mayor DeVico and I took over, we commissioned Triad Associates to develop a comprehensive recreation plan. Working with the Recreation Advisory Board, we are moving forward with overhauling recreation in our township, something Mr. Donohue ignored during his years as mayor.”
Mayor Clark continued:
“Now that he is running for re-election, Mr. Donohue suddenly finds he is interested in recreation. He now wants to take credit for the work Deputy Mayor DeVico and I have done over the past two years. The truth is Mr. Donohue has no interest in fostering recreation in our township. He just wants to get reelected, and apparently he is willing to pirate other people’s efforts to bolster his campaign.”
Mayor Clark concluded:
“If Mr. Donohue was so concerned about township recreation, why didn’t he do something about recreation when he was mayor?”
