COURT HOUSE – Planning to start the New Year by volunteering to make this a better world? Start right here in Middle Township. Fill out an application to serve on the Middle Township Animal Advisory Board.
The Animal Advisory Board is charged with promoting responsible animal care and ensuring that animals do not suffer due to abuse, neglect or lack of proper care. Its mission is “to do the most good we can for the most animals we can in the most ways we can.”
While waiting for an open seat on the board, applicants are invited to volunteer to table at local events or help out at rabies clinics. They will be encouraged to help design programs that address barking dogs or community cats and assist in organizing data or creating humane lesson plans. Every skill and talent can be put to good use in developing a better circumstance for the people and animals who share our community. Check out the board’s activities in the Middle Township Animal Guardian e-newsletter at http://mtaguardian.wordpress.com.
Middle Township residents can apply to join our diverse, motivated members by submitting an application from www.middletownship.com/animal-advisory-board or contact Dawn Stimmel at Middle Township Municipal Hall via (609) 465-8732 or dstimmel@middltownship.com
