Memorial School Goes to the Dogs for Halloween

By Jack Fichter

VILLAS — To the tune of “Who Let the Dog’s Out,” the students of the David C. Douglass Memorial School paraded around their parking lot, Fri., Oct. 29, dressed in their Halloween costumes.
Teachers and staff dressed as Dalmatians with Principal Shelleymarie Magan as “Sparkle.” She was escorted by Town Bank Volunteer Firefighters. The theme of the parade was fire safety.
A number of folks in the crowd spotted Iron Man running around on the roof of the school. The parade was one of four events at Lower Township Elementary Schools. All were well attended by parents and grandparents.
