Memorial Day Service to Be Held at Osprey Point May 29

SEAVILLE — A Memorial Day Service will be held at 9:30 am on Mon., May 29 at Sergeant William R. Godfrey Memorial Park.
The service will be hosted by Osprey Point resident, Aldo Palombo.
A flag honoring and memorializing William Swain, an Osprey Point resident and US Navy Veteran, will be presented to the community.
Commander Charles Adelizzi of VFW Post 8695 and Vice Commander Dennis DeSalvo of American Legion Post 239 will lead the flag salute.
The Speaker will be US Coast Guard Petty Officer Brett Teuber, flight mechanic at the Atlantic City International Airport Coast Guard Station.
The Tuckahoe Boy Scout Troop 55 Color Guard along with the American Legion/VFW Rifle Squad will be present and their Bugler will sound Taps.
The more than 50 veterans, who are residents of the Osprey Point Condominiums, along with visitors, and dignitaries will be acknowledged.
All are welcome to attend this Memorial Day Service to remember and honor those who have fallen in the service of our country.
If there is inclement weather, the Service will be held in the Osprey Point Clubhouse where light refreshments will be served.
The beautiful park is located at Osprey Point, 1731 Route 9, Seaville, NJ.
