TRENTON – Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director, announced that there were no Mega Millions game jackpot or second tier New Jersey prizewinners, but there were four tickets sold that matched the four white balls and the Gold Mega Ball for the June 10 drawing winning the $5,000 third prize. If those tickets had been purchased with the Megaplier option they would have been worth $25,000 each. The winning tickets were purchased at the following locations:
- Starns Village Supermarket, 1700 Rte. 47 South, Rio Grande in Cape May County;
- Dexida Supermarket Stop 2, 235 Lyons Ave., Newark in Essex County;
- Pitman Convenience Store, 308 South Broadway., Pitman in Gloucester County; and
- Quick Chek #69, 600 New Brunswick Ave., Phillipsburg in Warren County.
In addition, 32 players’ tickets matched the four white balls winning $500 each. Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, making them worth $2,500 each. Moreover, 167,840 other New Jersey players took home $307,746 in prizes ranging from $1 to $250, according to Hedinger.
“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold all of those winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.” The winning numbers for the June 10 drawing were: 34, 61, 66, 67 and 68. The Gold Mega Ball was 07, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.
The Mega Millions jackpot rolls to $293,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held June 14 at 11:00 pm. Powerball and Mega Millions drawings can be seen on WABC TV stations. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 46 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
