I have been a resident of Cape May County for 44 years, 12 of which were in Middle Township. As acting manager in a grocery chain, I have trained and oversaw many employees in the 38 years of employment.
I have served as a member and chairman of the Ocean City Planning Board for two terms, working with the board and Ocean City officials on their master plan.
I have been employed by Cape May County Emergency Management for 18 years as a Senior Dispatcher, Communication Officer and Payroll Clerk Purchasing Agent. I was also Program Manager for several voluntary groups within the county.
As an appointed member to the Cape May County Election Board, then chairman, I implemented major changes to the now updated election process.
My goal is to work with the present Township Committee members to keep taxes affordable for its residents so they can continue to call Middle Township home. I would like to see more open meetings with the public involvement and set a priority in getting the roads repaired in the township.
All these years of experience have given me exceptional motivational skills and interpersonal relations with coworkers and managers. I am well versed in government rules and regulations, and havetaken part in collective bargaining and negotiations.
