When one party controls every decision in Washington, Trenton, the county and the township, their monopoly of power keeps:
1. Citizens from knowing who benefits and who gets hurt by those decisions.
2. New anddifferentideas from stimulating creativeproblem solving.
If you live in Lower Township and want more responsive government, vote for Democrat Kit Marlowe as Third Ward Councilman. He promises to “open a window” on decisions that affect every family in township.
Kit Marlowe fell in love with the Cape May area 50 years ago. In 2015, he was finally able to retire from working as a safety manager for an environmental engineering company and settle here, permanently. His experience with influencing organizations solely by reason and moral persuasion should allow him to influence a council dominated by republicans.
Soon after moving to Cape May, Kit joined a local church. He now serves on the Finance Committee. He also volunteers with Cape Island Habitat Restoration Task Force, East Lynne Theater Company and the county’s RSVP Tax Aide Program. He chairs the Capital Projects Committee for Cape Hope Cares, a local homelessness charity.
