LOWER TOWNSHIP – The Lower Township Healthy Youth Coalition will hold its first public forum Feb. 3 and is inviting members of the community to attend, announced the group’s coordinator Steve Selby.
The coalition is being funded through a grant awarded to the township and Cape Assist by the White House Drug Policy Office. The township Healthy Youth Coalition consists of representatives of about 12 different sectors of the community, including faith-based groups, schools, business and civic groups. That steering committee is scheduled to meet early in 2016 to finalize plans for the Feb. 3 forum.
Mark Your Calendars: For those wanting to attend the public forum, the date is Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. at Lower Township Hall, located at 2600 Bayshore Road.
