Knitting Group Donates Hats to Charity

CAPE MAY – Scarf It Up Cape May has sent a donation of thirty purple hats to Click for Babies.  The campaign’s goal is to educate new parents about the period of purple crying – the first three months of baby’s life when crying is a normal part of maturation. The time when Shaken Baby Syndrome is most prevalent.
Scarf It Up is a group of volunteers who knit and crochet items for donation to local charities and organizations. People of all skill levels are welcome and intruction is available.  
The group meets at Aetherstorm Gaming, at the corner of Bayshore Rd. and Sandman Blvd. in North Cape May. Meetings are held Sunday and Tuesday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and Wednesday evening 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. For more information, call Fran at 609-972-1119.
