CAPE MAY – Knitters & Crocheters are invited to join the Fiber Arts Yarn Shop for “Cape May Knit in Public Day” on Sunday, August 21st, from 2 – 4 p.m.. “By knitting in public, we invite others to learn of our love for knitting and crocheting, while creating items to be distributed to charities.”
Pre-Registration is now being taken at Fiber Arts Yarn Shop, 315 Ocean Street, Cape May. Participants are encouraged to pre-register to receive official Encore yarn and a 20% discount coupon for Shopping Spree at Fiber Arts Yarn Shop on day of the event. Drop in’s will be accommodated while supplies last. The first 30 participants will receive a Sheep Stitch Marker in their kits.
On day of the event: pick up your kit from the shop, find a shady spot in the nearby Park or on the the Victorian Shopping Mall to knit or crochet. Make 1 or more caps from your kit, and drop off completed items to Fiber Arts Yarn Shop by September 15th.
Pre-assembled kits are $7.50: Kits include Yarn & Instructions for KNIT & CROCHET Caps! (kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis)
Can’t attend? You can still participate by calling the shop at 609-898-8080 and registering for a kit to be mailed to you. Mailed kits are $9.50 and include shipping & handling.
Completed Baby Caps will be donated to: “CAPS FOR GOOD”.
