Keep the Home Fires Burning

By

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Keep the Home Fires Burning – Cape May County and America at War is the topic of the County Clerk’s annual Archives Day Presentation and exhibit on October 18, 2017 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Historic Courthouse located at 9 N. Main Street.
“Throughout history Cape May County residents did their part to support the war effort. During war time families here at home struggled, sacrificed and unfortunately many mourned the loss of their war dead,” County Clerk Rita Marie Fulginiti said. “This year we commemorate 100 years since the United States entered World War 1 (April 6, 1917). Our program based on public records research spans three centuries of wars focusing on the life of our people at home.”
