RIO GRANDE – Credit unions in southern New Jersey have banded together to collect donations of Kid-Friendly Food. When the school year ends, some children no longer have access to nutritious food. To combat this problem in their communities, a kid-friendly food drive will be held May 1 through July 31. Most needed items are peanut butter and jelly, canned pastas and soups, macaroni and cheese, pasta, cereals, oatmeal, pancake mix, granola bars, fruit cups, pudding cups, snack boxes of raisins and cranberries, and juice boxes.
Donations can be dropped off at your local participating credit union. Those participating include Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union (aiding Community Food Bank of NJ Southern Branch), Bay Atlantic Federal Credit Union (aiding Salvation Army in Vineland), Campbell Employees Federal Credit Union (aiding Food Bank of South Jersey), Members 1st of NJ Federal Credit Union (also aiding Community Food Bank of NJ Southern Branch), and Thunderbolt Area Federal Credit Union (aiding Help and Hope Ministries Food Pantry). For more information, please contact any credit union participating in this much needed Kid-Friendly Food Drive.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
