CAPE MAY — A Pirate’s life is about much more than swabbing the deck and walking the plank. Budding pirates who attend this very special camp will learn about navigating the Seven Seas, how to build a boat, follow a map and learn all about the creatures in the sea. So, grab your eye-patch, a parrot and be prepared to discover a week’s worth of treasure at the Nature Center of Cape May.
Our Pirates’ Week day camp coincides with the Nature Center’s offshore adventure aboard the Spirit of Cape May on Wed. evening, Aug. 14 from 6:30 to 8:30. This two hour cruise combines the wonder of dolphin watching with the fun of a pirate’s life afloat. Come aboard for light food, a Chinese auction, cash bar, prizes for best pirate costume, ghost story telling and a treasure of family fun. “Philly Bill” Culp of WIBBAGE radio, 94.3 provides the entertainment.
