OCEAN CITY – Hope Pregnancy Centers of Rio Grande and Ocean City, hosted their annual Spring Fundraising Banquet on March 8 at the Flanders Hotel in Ocean City. The keynote speaker this year was Rebecca Kiessling, whose story could be summed up in the words “Conceived in Rape: Targeted For Abortion”. Her powerful testimony held the rapt attention of the audience as she came to put a face, a voice and a story to the matter of pro-life “except in cases of rape”. Hope Pregnancy Centers provide counseling, pregnancy tests, maternity clothing and baby items for those who are going through crisis pregnancies. The executive director is Marian B. Stevenson, RN and the staff is comprised of trained life coaches who are available to help those in need. Throughout the year, Hope hosts various events to raise awareness and funding.
