Greetings from the President of Rutgers University

By

To New Jersey 4-H Members, Families and Guests:
Welcome to the 2017 Cape May County 4-H Fair!
Each year, our county fairs provide an opportunity to celebrate and support 4-H, a program that encourages our young people to develop good health habits, pursue scientific inquiry and lifelong learning, become active citizens and perform public service. Rutgers University is proud to be the home of New Jersey 4-H, a wonderful and worthwhile Garden State tradition.
I want to thank the dedicated 4-H volunteers here and across the state, as well as the faculty and staff of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station and Rutgers Cooperative Extension, for all they do to keep 4-H going strong. Our talented 4-H members and their families also have my admiration for their participation in and support of this extraordinary program.
My best wishes for a fun and rewarding experience at this year’s fair, and my congratulations to everyone all who has helped make it such a success.
Sincerely,
Bob Barchi
President
