Welcome to the 2016 Cape May County 4-H Fair!
New Jersey residents are able to enjoy an annual County Fair, thanks to New Jersey 4-H, a program of Rutgers Cooperative Extension (RCE). To celebrate Rutgers’ 250th anniversary this year, all county fairs will reflect the RU250 theme, “Rutgers. Revolutionary for 250 Years.” Three interactive traveling exhibits will prominently feature Rutgers programs, booths and giveaways at the larger 4-H fairs.
On behalf of the faculty and staff of RCE, I offer my warmest congratulations to more than 35,000 4-H youth who have spent the last year in science, engineering, and technology project areas as diverse as earth sciences and environmental education, animal and plant sciences, consumer and family science, and beyond. Thousands of other youth have participated in programs in the expressive arts, personal development, nutrition and healthy living, and more.
The annual county fairs offer our 4-H members and their families the opportunity to showcase their 4-H projects and demonstrate the leadership, social responsibility, and life skills they learned throughout the past year.
I especially applaud the thousands of 4-H adult and youth volunteers for their dedication and continued support. Their invaluable contributions of time, knowledge, and caring are vital to the success of all 4-H programs!
Your county fair is a unique part of our Garden State and the showcase of fun, hands-on activities, demonstrations, and educational opportunities is an indelible part of the New Jersey experience.
I hope you enjoy your stay at the fair and will plan to make this an annual destination for you and your family! Please contact us at (848) 932-5000 and visit us online at nj4h.rutgers.edu.
Best wishes,

Cape May County – I’d like to suggest to the Herald that they leverage spout offs draw and replace some of the ads for their paper with a few paid ads that you probably can charge a little extra for. Lots of people…
