Welcome to the Cape May County 4-H Fair! We are so excited to bring you this annual showcase of our 4-H youth members’ and adult volunteers’ accomplishments.
This year’s 4-H Fair theme is “4-H Will Take You Places!” As you stroll through our beautiful, shady fairgrounds and enjoy the many activities and exhibits from one end to the other, you may be surprised how far 4-H takes our youth. From national 4-H trips to Washington, DC…to winning robotic competitions…to the pride gained from raising a prize winning animal…to the satisfaction gained from helping others, 4-H offers limitless possibilities for youth to “go places.”
Enjoy the many sights, sounds and experiences our 4-H Fair has to offer, from tantalizing chicken bar-b-que to excellent local entertainment and everything in between. This year, we are proud to feature an exhibit celebrating Rutgers University’s 250th anniversary. Rutgers is the home of cooperative extension in New Jersey and its history is a unique piece of the fabric of our nation’s beginning. Be sure to see the exhibit in our Lockwood 4-H Youth Center.
Come visit us at the 4-H Fair July 21, 22 and 23 and let 4-H take you and your family places, too. We look forward to seeing you.

Cape May County – I’d like to suggest to the Herald that they leverage spout offs draw and replace some of the ads for their paper with a few paid ads that you probably can charge a little extra for. Lots of people…
