Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group Announces September Meeting

COURT HOUSE – The next meeting of Rutgers Cooperative Extension Family and Community Health Sciences’ Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group will be held Sept. 20, 2017.  The free information session will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County, 355 Courthouse-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, New Jersey (Turn at the light at ACCC, it is the first building on the right). The building is handicap accessible.
 The program will focus on setting boundaries based on values.Marilou Rochford, FCHS Educator, said, “ The discussion will include how to start a dialogue with your grandchild about what matters in your family and how to set acceptable boundaries.”
A light supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the program will follow at 6 p.m.  Childcare will be provided for the grandchildren. There is no charge for this program, however, advanced registration is required.  Please call Marian at (609) 465-5115, ext. 3609 for more information or to register for the program.
