Grandparents Discussion Slated Oct. 5

COURT HOUSE — Rutgers Cooperative Extension’s Family and Community Health Sciences Department will hold a discussion session entitled “Raising Our Children’s Children – Healing the Wounds” Oct. 5, from 6-7 p.m. at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Building located at 355 Courthouse-South Dennis Road.
(Turn at the light at ACCC, it is the first building on the right). The building is handicap accessible.
The program discussion will examine the challenges, hardships and rewards facing grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. Childcare will be provided for the grandchildren.
A light supper for the grandparents and grandchildren begins promptly at 5:30 p.m., and the program will follow at 6 p.m.There is no charge for this program, but advanced registration is required. Please call Marian at 609-465-5115, ext. 609 by Sept. 29 to register, or for more information.
