In summer 2019, Girl Scout Troop 45296 will be taking an educational tour of Europe, traveling to four countries. While earning college credits, the troop will have some amazing learning experiences including a visit to the Dachu Concentration Camp Memorial, a tour of Heidelberg, a visit to the Notre Dame Cathedral and a pinning ceremony at WAGGS in Switzerland.
All members of the troop have earned their Girl Scout Bronze and Silver Awards. The troop received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award three years in a row, awards from the mayor and Commendation from the State Legislature, as well as implemented an anti-bullying program. While continuing to be the “go-to” troop for volunteer hours, members have continued their studies in high school and extracurricular activities such as drama, Key Club, student council and basketball.
While doing all of the above, the troop is trying to raise the money they need to go on this amazing adventure! Any contribution you would be willing to make in support would be a huge blessing. Gifts can be made via check to Troop 45296 and mailed to 126 Holly Dr., Rio Grande, NJ 08242. To donate online, email Chandi at rrspecialties@comcast.net. Girl Scout Troop 45296 appreciates your support and thanks you in advance!
