Get hooked on slow food

By On Deck Staff

The Slow Food USA National Day of Action’s purpose is to educate ourselves and our community about the state of the National School Lunch program and to learn about the alternatives.
Come to the Slow Food South Jersey community potluck, music, and children’s games on Labor Day, Sept. 7 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the West Cape May Farmer’s Market (Rain location; WCM Borough Hall) to promote Real Food in schools.
Enjoy yourselves, celebrate the holiday, and enjoy our abundant, fresh fruits and vegetables while you support a significant revision in the Child Nutrition Act.
Bring your special dish made with fresh corn, tomatoes or zucchini and win a prize!
