COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Freeholder Kristine Gabor and the Board of Chosen Freeholders recognized the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities and the staff of the Twinings Tea Room at their meeting on Oct. 8, 2013. The presentation was made during the month of October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month since, in May, the Tea Room Generously sponsored the Pink Tea to celebrate Breast Cancer Survivor Day.
Due to grant funding regulation changes, the annual event could not be paid for by the grant this year, so the Twinings Tea Room offered to host the event to celebrate cancer survivors and therefore the event was able to go on as planned.
Freeholder Gabor presented recognition plaques to Anne Gibboni from the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities and the staff of the Twinings Tea Room and thanked them for their generous support of the Pink Tea.
