Free Mental Health First Aid Training Offered June 8; Preregistration Required

VILLAS – Mental Health First Aid teaches people how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders in their community, according to a Lower Township Police Department release.
Training will be held June 8. Training session will be from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. at the Millman Center, 209 Bayshore Rd., Villas.
Pre-registration is required. To register, contact Chelys at Cape Assist at (609) 522-5960.
Anyone, anywhere can be the one to make a difference in the life of someone with a mental health or substance use disorder – if they know what to do and what to say.
