Fox 29 News Celebrates Labor Day in Wildwood

By Press Release

WILDWOOD – Wildwood became Wild-“Wow” when Philadelphia’s Fox 29 News came to the city to celebrate the unofficial last weekend of the summer season, Labor Day.
Broadcasting from beach at the world famous Wildwood sign on Aug. 29 reporter Quincy Harris was treated to a morning of food, monster trucks, hydroplanes, new cars and a Zumba class. Philadelphia Flyer great Bernie Parent stopped by to share in the fun.
On Sept. 1 the entire Fox News family drove “down the shore” to help celebrate Labor Day. Broadcasting from the beach and Schellenger Avenue, the news team participated in all the fun of a Wildwood day.
“It’s always good to have nationally known television stations come to our community,” said Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr. “We hope they had as much fun being here as we had in hosting them.”
