First Presbyterian Church, Cape May to Host Congolese Women’s Advocate

CAPE MAY – The public is invited to meet Monique Misenga Mokana, from the Democratic Republic of Congo for brunch at First Presbyterian Church in Cape May, Sept. 21,  at 11 a.m.  

According to a release, following the brunch, Mokana will be speaking on the subjects of women’s rights and her work to end violence against women, particularly sexual violence used as a weapon of war.  

The church is at 400 Hughes St., with the front door on Decatur Street. Call the church office at 609-884-3949 with questions.
