First Meeting of WCM African American Historical Society to Be Held June 1

By Press Release

WEST CAPE MAY — The first meeting of the newly organized WCM African American Historical Society will be held on Thurs., June 1, 2017 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Borough Hall in West Cape May.
One of our missions is to recognize and preserve the history of African American families and business owners in the WCM community as far back as the early 1800’s. Whether you lived in the community year round, recent resident or a summer home owner or visitor, we welcome your input.
Everyone is invited to attend to discuss our objectives and goals and to obtain the information necessary to submit your history for our Journal.
For additional information, please feel free to contact: Vivian Wright Lockett at 609-641-5353 or email: viviannlockett@gmail.com
