WOODBINE – Over 700 attended this year’s kids’ carnival Aug. 6. There were toys, waterslide, bounce house, free food, horses, water ice, and soft ice cream. The event was free. This year’s event was speculator and aimed to provide fun for all children, according to a release.
Councilwoman Mary Helen Perez conveyed appreciation to all sponsors, friends, family and volunteers that made this year’s carnival a success. It has become a traditional Woodbine summer event.
Supporting businesses and agencies included Home Depot Kids Workshop, Servpro, Steve Serwatka New Jersey Nature, Cape May County Sheriff’s office, Smokey the Bear, Billy Love, Woodbine Volunteer Fire Department, Chick-Fil-A, 253rd National Guard, NJ Shares, CARA, Atlantic City Electric, Puerto Rican Action Committee, Ricky Timbal Singer, DJ Jazmann.
