Experience the life of a farmer and America’s agricultural heritage at Historic Cold Spring Village’s ‘Farm Days’ Event, which will be held July 11-12, from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The Village will be filled with farm animals, equipment, machinery, interactive exhibits-and more. Guests will have the opportunity to take in horse-drawn farming demonstrations with Levi, the Village’s resident horse.
Special exhibits throughout the Village will include antique and modern tractors, hit & miss engines and 19th century hand tools. At 1:30 p.m. on both days of the event, HCSV Education Director Jim Stephens will give a presentation on the Industrial Revolution and its influence on American agriculture.
Visitors will also receive a special tasting of Village preserves in the Country Store, which offers a selection of handmade artisan wares, heritage toys, books, collectibles, jewelry and more.
Historic Cold Spring Village is located on Route 9, three miles north of Victorian Cape May and a mile and a half west of the southern terminus of the Garden State Parkway.
