WILDWOOD – Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2810 Atlantic Ave., will host a family from the Family Promise program in October.
Since 2007, the church has opened its retreat center for families in need, according to a release.
The Family Promise program is unique since it keeps families together, never separated. The church hosts families twice a year.
A family will stay at the Luther Inn, a converted motel that the church purchased in the 1970s. They will sleep in beds, eat wholesome meals, and maintain a healthy lifestyle as the children attend school and parents get the help they need to be able to provide for themselves.
