COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Library announces children’s events to be held in April. 
County Library Hosts Baby Time
The Cape May County Library invites children from birth to 1 year old and their caregivers to Baby Time storytime held at 10 a.m., April 17 and April 24. The program will take place at the Main Branch of the library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Court House.
Baby Time is a special storytime designed for children who have just arrived in the family through 1 year old. You and your baby will listen to and participate in rhymes, songs, stories, and playing with toys.

County Library Hosts Preschool Storytimes
Cape May County Library invites children, ages 3 to 5 years, and their caregivers to attend Preschool Storytimes. The programs will take place at many of our Cape May County Library branches throughout April.
Children, ages 3 to 5 years, are invited to enjoy stories, rhymes, crafts and lots of fun! Each storytime will include stories, songs & rhymes, and craft activities that reinforce children’s basic concepts, language skills, listening ability, and social skills.

Woodbine Branch, 800 Monroe Street in Woodbine, 861-2501, 10 a.m., April 16, 23, and 30.

The Cape May County Library invites babies, birth to four years old, and their caregivers to Storytime with Miss Anita held at 10:30 a.m., April 18 and 25. The programs will take place at the Cape May City Branch of the library, located at Ocean and Hughes Streets.
Join Miss Anita for a special storytime at the Cape May Library! Children 0-4 and their families are invited to listen to some stories, sing, dance, and play. These activities are designed for children’s early social, mental, and physical development.

The Cape May County Library invites children 2-3 years old and their caregivers to Toddler Time storytime held at 10:45 a.m., April 17 and 24. The program will take place at the Main Branch of the library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Court House.
Children 2-3 years old and their caregivers are invited to Toddler Time! Toddler Time is a special storytime designed for 2 year olds and young 3 year olds who may not be ready for preschool storytime. You and your toddler will enjoy simple books, action rhymes, music, and songs that will help develop early literacy, language and social skills.

County Library Hosts LEGO Clubs
The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 5 to 12 years old, and their caregivers to attend our LEGO Clubs. LEGO Club will be held at four of the library’s branches throughout April.
We’ll read a few books to get ideas about what to construct and then build, build, build! Parents and guardians are encouraged to stay and build with their kids.

County Library Hosts Seed Planting 101
The Cape May County Library invites kids 5-12 years old to Seed Planting 101, held at two of the library’s branches in April.
Make a seed ball with clay to take home and watch your seeds grow! Miss Nancy will talk about what your seeds will need to be healthy. Kids 5-12 welcome. Be prepared for mess!

County Library Hosts Junior Engineers
The Cape May County Library invites kids 5-12 to join our Junior Engineer program held at the Main Branch of the library at 3 p.m., April 13. The Main Branch of the library is located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Court House.
Drop in to test your engineering skills in the STEAMengine Makerspace. There will be new projects every month. Kids 5-12 are invited.

The Cape May County Library invites kids, ages 2-6, and their families to attend a Morning Dance Party to be held April 27 at 11 a.m. The program will take place at the Wildwood Crest Branch of the library, located at 6300 Atlantic Avenue in Wildwood Crest.
Kids 2-6 and their families are invited to show off their cool dance moves and learn new ones! Dance the day away with Miss Susan from Miss Susan’s Entertainment!

County Library Hosts Creative Writing Club
The Cape May County Library invites kids, ages 8-12, to join Writers Rock which will take place at 6 p.m., April 25. The program will take place at the Lower Branch of the library located at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
Writers and aspiring writers wanted! Writers Rock is a creative writing club for kids 8 – 12 years old that will meet once a month to participate in fun activities to hone our writing skills and inspire our creativity. Kids can register in the Children’s Room of the Lower Cape Library or by calling (609) 886-8999.

The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 6-10 to Art @ the Library presented by the Cape May Center for Community Arts. The program will take place at the Cape May City Branch Library April 12 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The Cape May City Branch Library is located on 110 Ocean Street in Cape May.
Children ages six through ten are invited to enjoy Art @ the Library. Activities combine literature and art where children read a book and create a work of art using a variety of media and styles. Ages 6-10. Presented by the Community Center for the Arts. Call (609) 884-7525 for more information.

The Cape May County Library invites toddlers, ages 2-5, and their caregivers to Messy Masterpieces to be held at 10 a.m., April 19. The programs will take place at the Lower Cape Branch library located at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
Toddlers ages 2-5 are invited to explore their creativity with an hour-long art program, featuring stories and a sensory art project. Held at the Lower Cape branch of the Cape May County Library. Dress for mess!

County Library Hosts a Homeschool Social
The Cape May County Library invites families to a Homeschool Social to be held at 11 a.m., April 12. The Homeschool Social will take place at the Lower Branch of the library, located at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
The Lower Cape Library invites all families in the area who homeschool their children to a monthly social. Each month, we will explore a different subject area with stories and activities for the children. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet with other families who homeschool and explore the library’s vast resources.

The Cape May County Library invites kids, ages 2-5, and their caregivers to attend a Family Dance Party to be held April 21 at 11 a.m. The program will take place at the Main Branch of the library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Court House.
Put on your dancing shoes and come ready to dance, dance, dance! For all kids ages 2-5 and their loved ones. No registration needed, just show up!

County Library Hosts Kitchen Wizards
The Cape May County Library invites kids, ages 5-12, to Kitchen Wizards! The program will take place twice April 14 and kids can register for one of the two sessions. The first session will take place at 10:30 a.m. and the second session will take place at noon. The programs will be held at the Main Branch of the Library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Court House.
Kitchen Wizards helps kids discover the magic of cooking, one bite at a time, through culinary enrichment programs. Plenty of samples to take home and copies of recipes provided. Recipes are not guaranteed to be nut-free.
