COURT HOUSE – Cape May County 4-H announced 2018 outstanding 4-H members. They were:
Junior:
Kate DiGilio is a member of the Needle and Thread 4-H Club. She just completed seventh grade at Cape Trinity Catholic school and has been a member of 4-H for four years.
“I joined 4-H because my sister Emily was in it and it seemed like fun,” stated DiGilio. “I continue to join 4-H each year not only because it is fun but I enjoy working on many projects. It is a great activity to be part of.”
Seniors:
Cadence Golley is a member of the Pitchforks & Buckets 4-H Club. She just completed ninth grade at Cape May County Technical High School and has been a member of 4-H for eight years.
“I feel that a great skill that I have shown my club this year is my leadership abilities serving as vice president of our club,” stated Golley. “Also, I am setting a good example for my fellow club members and the rest of the 4-H community.
“Also, I work very hard to stay organized with all of our club paperwork, notes at meetings, dates and times, plus my personal project animal logs and feed listings.”
Andrew Heim is a member of the Shore Blazers 4-H Club. He just completed 11th grade at Lower Cape May Regional High School and has been a 4-H member for nine years.
“Because of my family’s involvement with 4-H, I became interested in 4-H,” stated Heim. “I now realize how much I have learned by being part of such a great organization that can make a difference.
“4-H has really helped me gain confidence by doing public speaking, I am no longer afraid to speak in front of a crowd. I have learned so much from 4-H, and being part of the 4-H community that helps others is rewarding, plus I have made some really good friends.”
Cape May – Caryn Elaine Johnson AKA Whoopi Goldberg did what she always does lies. She lied that a bakery wouldn' t serve her because of her race. This was a complete fabrication damaged their reputation…
