“I feel that a great skill that I have shown my club this year is my leadership abilities serving as vice president of our club,” stated Golley. “Also, I am setting a good example for my fellow club members and the rest of the 4-H community.
“Also, I work very hard to stay organized with all of our club paperwork, notes at meetings, dates and times, plus my personal project animal logs and feed listings.”
Andrew Heim is a member of the Shore Blazers 4-H Club. He just completed 11th grade at Lower Cape May Regional High School and has been a 4-H member for nine years.
“Because of my family’s involvement with 4-H, I became interested in 4-H,” stated Heim. “I now realize how much I have learned by being part of such a great organization that can make a difference.
“4-H has really helped me gain confidence by doing public speaking, I am no longer afraid to speak in front of a crowd. I have learned so much from 4-H, and being part of the 4-H community that helps others is rewarding, plus I have made some really good friends.”
