Cape Assist Organizes Basketball Event; Goal: Create Bullying Awareness

WILDWOOD – As part of the “Too Good for Drugs and Violence” program with the All-Stars of Wildwood High School, Cape Assist is organizing a three-on-three basketball tournament April 20.
The purpose of the event is to raise awareness on how students can prevent or stop bullying in their schools and communities.
Students grades fifth through 12th that are enrolled in any school on the Five Mile Beach are invited to create a team to enter the tournament.
Team members don’t have to be from the same school.
For information or to get a participation form, students can visit their school’s main office, a local recreation center, or Cape Assist’s Office or online at www.capeassist.org/3on3.
All participation forms are due by April 13. No registration will be accepted after that day or during the day of the event.
Parents are encouraged to attend and support their children and students.
This is a free event to attend. Snacks will be sold at the event.
The event will be held at Wildwood High School, 4300 Pacific Ave., Wildwood.
Sign-in: 3:30 p.m. opening tipoff: 4 p.m.
