Fall Family Festival is one of the largest festivals of the season in Sea Isle City. This year the festival will be held Sept. 19-20. There will be over 350 vendors in the Seaside Market and plenty of food and fun activities the entire weekend.
On Saturday there will be multiple events happening, beginning with a sand sculpting demonstration, clinic, and contest with Chuck Feld, of Sand Pounders, from 9 a.m.-noon. The clinic will be held on the JFK Boulevard Beach where all are welcome to join.
Also beginning at 9 a.m. is the famous Seaside Market and Food Court. Local and visiting businesses will have stands selling a variety of foods, snacks, and a multitude of different unique craft items on JFK Boulevard and along The Promenade.
There will be live music by the Hawkins Road band, which will be playing on the Boulevard from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Pony rides and face painting are a couple of the other big attractions for the children, as well as a moon bounce, and Rocky Mountain Wall Climb. Later, the fun continues into the night with an Evening Dance Party hosted by DJ Jeff on The Promenade from 7-9 p.m.
Sunday continues the weekend with the annual Antique Auto Show on The Promenade beginning at 9 a.m. An Awards Ceremony at 1 p.m., as well as the Antique Auto Parade will follow the show.
There will be at least 100 cars in the show and spectators are invited to the parade that will travel through the center of town and commence at Townsends Inlet.
There will also be live music by the Snake Brothers Band on The Promenade, and Free Guided Historical Trolley Tours from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The tours will begin at the southeast corner of JFK Boulevard and Landis Avenue.
Volunteer guides will take visitors throughout the town and talk about the history of different areas as the Trolley travels to Townsends Inlet and back to the Boulevard.
