The Green Committee of the Wildwoods Convention Center will participate in the Earth Day Celebration by “going green” and organizing a clean-up day on Tuesday, April 21.
Approximately 70 first grade students and six teachers from Glenwood Avenue School in Wildwood, as well as employees of the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority, Well Bread Catering, and SMG will be cleaning the dune area surrounding the Wildwoods Convention Center from 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
The staff of the Wildwoods Convention Center purchased a tree that will be donated to the City of Wildwood and planted at Glenwood Avenue School by the students.
This Earth Day activity provides an opportunity to give the local community a small contribution that will grow for years to come.
