Wildwood Catholic Cheer Team Brings Home Honors

NORTH WILDWOOD — Wildwood Catholic’s Cheer Camp traveled to Towson University for cheerleading camp July 31-Aug. 3.
Maggie Clements, Leatrice Spiewak, Maria Catanoso were awarded the “Pin it Forward” award.
They were selected because they displayed leadership qualities. Maggie was selected by the UCA staff. Maria and Leatrice were selected by cheerleaders from other teams. Only 16 girls from the camp of approx 150 were selected. Leatrice was awarded: Top Camp Jumper, Selected to the All-American Team and was asked to audition for the UCA (Universal Cheerleader Association) staff for next year’s camps.
Team members included: Delaney Wallace, Katie Wallace, Nicole Narciso, Nicole Moore, Alex Adams, Maddie McGlade, Maddie Cheatham, Danielle Muratore, Liz Ferry, Katie Tirotta, Maria Catanoso, Maria Nikolinos, Maggie Clements, Leah Yost, Meghann Wallace, Leartice Spiewak, Jordan Montgomery, Brianne Inderwies. Team Accomplishments: First place Home Dance Routine and Improvement Award.
