PRESS RELEASE:
St. Raymond’s Boy Scout Troop 63 located in Lower Township recognized Eagle Scout Allen J. Ashbridge III and Eagle Scout Justin T. LoMonaco with an Eagle Scout Court of Honor Sunday August 16th. State Senator Jeff Van Drew, Assemblyman Nelson Albano, Assemblyman Matt Milam, Cape May County Freeholder Ralph Bakely Sr., Freeholder Gerald Thorton and Lower Township Mayor Michael E. Beck presented each scout with proclamations and certificates honoring their achievements.
The Master of Ceremonies was Bernard Becker from the Baysea Scouting District and the Benediction was given by Father Earnest Soprano of St. Raymond and St. John of God Churches.
Allen Ashbridge held fundraisers to purchase a defibulator for St. Raymond hall and provided a CPR instructor to teach scouts and parishioners CPR and the use of the defibulator for his Eagle Scout Project.
Justin LoMonaco redesigned the courtyard at Lower Cape May Regional High School.
Justin landscaped four different areas of the courtyard with brick edging, flowers, bushes, pavers and mulch.
Justin and Allen have given hundreds of hours of community service back to their church and community.
