Surprise Celebrity Visit for Classroom

By Press Release

NORTH WILDWOOD – On Friday May 6, sixth grade students at Margaret Mace School got a surprise visit from Charlie Moore, “The Mad Fisherman.”
A limo pulled up in front of the school, and the fisherman/entertainer walked into the building to surprise his sister, Juliana Compare’s class.
Charlie Moore: No Offense is on Versus TV and depicts a comedian, entertainer who takes out anyone from your local fisherman to celebrities such as Ricky Medlocke from Lynard Skynard, Ted Nugent, and politicians such as Mit Romney – former governor of Massachusetts and presidential hopeful.
Moore has been on ESPN, and NESN sports and has made a career fishing against celebrities from the likes of the Boston Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics to many members of the rock and roll industry, and has won five Emmys as well as several nominations. Run DMC is featured on the show and actually sings his opening credits.
The children were thrilled to meet their teacher’s brother and hear about how maybe some day they could get their own show. They asked several questions and joked around with Moore for about an hour.
Some of the upper class members as well as staff stopped in for the chance to get an autograph or picture with the celebrity.
