Set Nov. 2 Benefit for Seriously Ill Dennis Township Sixth Grader

OCEAN VIEW — A benefit fund raiser is planned Sunday, Nov. 2 at Ocean View Fire Hall, 128 Route 9, for Justin Longstreet, 11, a sixth grader at Dennis Township Middle School.
Two weeks ago, he became ill, and is currently in the intensive care unit at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia were doctors continue to do tests to determine why the otherwise normal boy fell into critical condition, and is fighting for his life, according to a release.
Residents, friends and family of Longstreet have organized the benefit to help the family with the sudden barrage of medical expenses.
The spaghetti dinner benefit will be held from 2-6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children. They may be purchased at Dennis Township Recreation Center prior to the event, or at the door.
Any donation, monetary of other, will assist the Longstreet family get through the present difficult time.
A fund has been established at Sturdy Savings Bank, Dennisville to collect all funds and distribute them to the family.
