Santa Pleases Kiddies at the Zoo

SWAINTON — There were lots of children and hundreds of wishes to remember , Dec. 15, as Santa and Mrs. Claus paid a three-hour visit to the Cape May County Zoo Aviary.
This special family event was free and open to the public. There were also exhibits and crafts activities for children, including making treats for wild birds in their backyards..
All participants had a photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus and the photo placed in a gift folder as a souvenir.
The Aviary boardwalk was lined with education and craft stations manned by volunteers who helped the children with crafts and answered questions. Something was available for all youngsters.
Cape May County Zoo is located at 707 Route 9 North, Court House.
The Zoo is open, weather permitting, 364 days a year – closed on Christmas Day.
