Caring for Kids of Cape May County honors role models at Show You Care brunch. The event, held in support of families from throughout the county, offers a hands-up to local neighbors in order that they might better enjoy the holidays. At the recent brunch, Caring For Kids recognized and thanked all Community Partners who have helped strengthen Cape May County families, and have promoted our children’s safety, well-being and school success. At the recent “Show Kids You Care” brunch, Judy Austermiller of Lower Township, was awarded the 2011 “Maria DiGiacomo Blue Ribbon Award”, for founding the Center for Community Arts, and for her subsequent longtime support of local children’s programs. The Golden Inn was honored as a Community Partner for opening its doors every December for over 250 children and family members during its annual Breakfast with Santa.
