By Herald Staff

WILDWOOD — Employees of Wildwood Post Office will participate in several events this holiday season.
On Friday, Dec. 5, employees will march in Wildwoods’ Christmas Parade collecting Letters for Santa which will be transported to the North Pole in time for Santa to check his naughty and nice list, according to a release.
The employees, including many other post offices, will collect non-perishable food items to help fill local food banks on Saturday, Dec. 6.
Customers can leave food items at their mailboxes for pick-up, drop them off at a local post office or take them to the parade.
Wildwood postal employees will also participate in the 2008 Annual Toys for Tots Flag Football Game against the Wildwood Police Department on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m. at Maxwell Field.
Unwrapped toys may be taken to the game, dropped off at the Wildwood Post Office, given to a letter carrier during the parade or dropped off at the Bayview Inn, Wildwood Crest, from 7 -10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6.
The holiday season is the Postal Service’s busiest time, but employees are always willing to help others in need.
