By Herald Staff

CAPE MAY — A standing-room-only audience enjoyed the Congress Hall Festival Choir Friday, Dec. 5 in the hotel’s ballroom.
The event included a drive for donations to Toys for Tots and the Cape May Food Closet.
A tree lighting took place in the hotel’s lobby following the concert.
Meanwhile, in Rio Grande, at 7 p.m. on Friday, a Christmas tee was lit in front of The Village Shoppes of Rio Grande, in an event sponsored by Middle Township Chamber of Commerce.
Children from throughout the community told Sant and Mrs. Claus what they hoped to get on Dec. 25.
