MARY ELLEN BLEM-INGS, 69, of Wildwood, May 14, 2006.  She was a resident for the past 35 years.
ANNIE DETRIS, 76, of North Cape May, May 14, 2006. She was a resident for 35 years, and a retired nurse from Burdette Tomlin Hospital after 23 years.
RAYMOND JAMES DUFFY, 70, of Villas, May 7, 2006. He was a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus and was employed by the Lower Township School district for 10 years.
DAVID J. FLETCHER, SR., 67, of Villas, May 10, 2006. He was a past steward and member of the Villas Fishing Club, and a member of the Villas VFW Post.
ISADORE ‘Denny’ GOLDMAN, May 12, 2006.
BETTY JANOWSKI, 81, of Ocean City, May 15, 2006. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church.
CHARLOTTE CARO-LINE MORETTI, 80, of Sea Isle City, May 13, 2006. She was the city’s AARP Volunteer of the Year, known for her annual “Turtle Party” to benefit endangered sea turtles, and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
GRACE MULLIGAN, 94, of Villas, May 13, 2006. She and her late husband were owners of Drakes 5 & 10 in Villas, and was a member of St. Raymond’s Church.
ALBERT LEO NEW-MAN of Palermo, May 12, 2006. He was a member of the Electrical Workers Union for 28 years, and was active in both the Calvary Chapel and Calvary Bible Church in Somers Point.
ELLEN T. OREN-SHAW, 74, of West Wildwood, May 11, 2006. She was a resident since 1982, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Anglesea.
LEONARD J. PAN-TALEO, 68, of Swainton, May 13, 2006. He was a U. S. Army veteran and a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
ANTOINETTE RITA (Cardaci) PUDLINSKI ‘Reets,’ 76, formerly of Wildwood, May 11, 2006. She was a former member of St. Ann’s Church.
RICHARD D. RODGERS, 69, of Avalon, May 8, 2006. He was a resident since 1973, retired after 17 years from Sturdy Savings Bank, and was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church.
DAVID M. SHAR-BAUGH, of Ocean City, May 6, 2006.
GORDON M. SMITH, 79, of Seaville, May 8, 2006. He was a veteran of World War II, life member of the VFW and was past president of the Ocean City Lions Club.
ELVOR SWAIN, 73, of Cape May, May 9, 2006. She owned and operated the Merion Inn with her first husband; taught Sunday school and sang in the choir at the First Baptist Church of Wildwood, and later joined her husband Bud at the Cape Island Baptist Church.
RUTH R. VEASEY, 88, of Ocean View, May 9, 2006.  She was a professional artist, founder and a teacher at the Ocean City Arts Center.
HELEN J. WEBER, 90, of Court House, May 12, 2006. She was a resident since 1974, former owner of the Hyland Motel and a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
ERNEST EERWIN ‘Em’ WINTERBOTTOM of Palermo, May 13, 2006. He was a member of the Mays Landing Volunteer Rescue Squad for 40 years, 11 of which he was the chief; 32nd degree Mason, and a member of the Mays Landing Volunteer Fire Department.
